About Me

My photo
I blog in an effort to provide a voice to all the FITMOMMIES in the World! All to often we traverse through life in a very "WE MUST CARE FOR EVERYONE ELSE 1st" fashion. As a result, we often end up feeling tired and under appreciated. I started this blog because I have had many conversations with many of my family members, friends and colleagues and we all share similar thoughts and ideas about motherhood. I felt this would be a great way to keep the conversation going... Definition : A FITMOMMIE is any woman who takes care of her SELF before she can take care of anyone else. She understands that SHE must be FIT inside and out before SHE can truly be a FITMOMMIE for everyone else. Ultimately this blog is written for the all FITMOMMIES who still believe in people...Who choose to believe in unconditional love... Who choose to Dance, Sing, Laugh and Love like it is their last day on earth.

WORDS THAT MOTIVATE ME DAILY...

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”  - Quote is from Nelson' Mandela's speech written by - Marianne Williamson
